Vonage

Vonage retained Power Play Marketing & Media to assist in a National media launch. Vonage’s primary goal was client acquisition so the media strategy needed to meet very targeted parameters with a definitive return on investment. A combination of online and offline media was employed including a substantial direct response television and radio campaign. Our primary responsibility was to negotiate direct response programs with both National and Regional television and radio outlets to guarantee impressions and sign-ups. With that strategy in mind we were able to assist Vonage in acquiring almost 2 million subscribers by the middle of 2006.

In addition to planning and negotiating radio and television for Vonage, we also assisted in Vonage’s branding initiative in the form of sourcing and negotiating high profile sports sponsorships in key markets. We helped develop over two dozen MLB, NFL and NBA team sponsorships all with signage and promotional marketing components that proved to be integral in building the Vonage brand.
